I led two teams of talented students from Davidson College on immersive filmmaking experiences, having them assist me in making a documentary about the intersection of race and history in Charleston, South Carolina. The result of that experience is an upcoming digital short about Alphonso Brown, the first Black history tour guide in Charleston, and the film shows just how far ahead of his time he was.
